After beating Sledge, the Power Rangers decide to go their separate ways thinking that they have nothing else to do and no reason to stay together to fight evil, but they would be wrong as a new evil is about to do more damage than they ever thought.

Heckyl and Snide had been living in Sledge's shadow. As he is no longer around to cause problems, the duo can be left to take the Energems and, in turn rule the universe. Nothing tends to keep a good team down, so once the Power Rangers get back together, they have new zords, weapons, allies and the new T-Rex Super Charge mode.

Live-action series come in all shapes and sizes, but this is one of the most long-running and popular series out there and shows the real bonus of a sentai team of characters who have to work together to achieve a common goal; fighting evil, whether it is monsters, zombies or Sledge's henchmen.

This ten episode set of two discs has our favourite superheroes seeking to protect the Energems and think of ways to cope with how they and their friends are evolving as young people in an already changing environment.

What might surprise the viewer is the fact that the set is separated into two settings, episodes that rely on the team's determination to succeed and comical situations that easily raise laughs; not forgetting those pesky baddies that are so bad, they are good. The later episodes are better; the plots have been worked out and the characterization, situations are more believable with viewers feeling rewarded with the bonus material on the discs.

While the Aqua Ranger takes a step back, other characters seem to get the chance to shine; Heckyl and Snide make two of the more interesting characters, acting as a cool baddie duo, but as is normal in anime series, there is always a reason why the characters turn bad. Heckyl's is due to his home world being invaded by an evil entity, which eventually takes him over and turns him evil. Snide turned evil when Heckyl did and he sees him as the one who created him from the dark energy. Some episodes are definitely written for children, but overall this second set is as immersive as the last with some strong episodes and good content.

Episodes:
Love at First Fight
Catching Some Rays
Recipe for Disaster
Silver Secret
Wings of Danger
Freaky Frightday
Workworld
The Rangers Rock
Edge of Extinction
End of Extinction

Bonus Material: None.

Summary: The team are back once again to fight a new evil while Sledge has been defeated; be prepared for more fun, laughs and some strong episodes in contrast against the funnier ones.
