The latest in the darker shade of magic series of novels is also the conclusion to Kells story where as the last surviving Antari he has to compete against other magic users to get what he wants.

The previous story was full of emotion and intrigue that I felt I was in the midst of another series of epic novel series. Titan books like to promote more epics than I have seen from other publishers and like to be kept up to date with the next series ready to take up space on my keeper shelf.

Kell is in a dungeon awaiting torture or worse. He has plans to escape but his magic doesn't seem to work on the manacles hes kept in. Hes also on a mission to return to Red London where he has to stop Holland, and save

I felt fascinated to read more on the brothers story as theirs is different to most. There is a close bond between them yet Rhy is the purer brother of the two and as such the more highly regarded even though Kell is the one who could first use magic. outside of Dracula I was interested to see someone called Alucard in this novel as it indicates the characters intentions and personality.
