Hikitani always looks bored with high school. He can't help it when the only thing he looks forward to is the school service club. he might seem a bit of a cold fish, but he has hidden depths. Hikitani has a jaded view of life that stems from his being persecuted when he was younger by guys in his class. As a result, he is standoffish and doesn't make friends easily, in fact he would be happier if he didn't have to make new ones.
What is a surprise to most in the school service club is that his hidden ability is to bring potential romantic couples together. He's the go-to guy for all things romantic when guys have problems with girls. For him, the whole point of the club is to bring lovers together as guys need to find a way to let the girls they fancy what they think of them and whether they might want to go on a date. Hikitani can give the best form of advice others will listen to - even if the girls in the club don't get along with him so well. When guys come to him, he and the girls, Yukino and Yui. also offer advice, and even let Hikitani know whether he's right in what advice he does give to the other students. So far, Hikki has grown very manipulative over the past few months while he has feelings for someone in the school service club, but doesn't want to accept it.
This is the second series of SNAFU and the day comes where the class is taken on a school trip to Kyoto to see the sights and take them in, but it's also a way for them all to get along outside of the stuffy classroom in the hopes that they will get along. Rather than take in the scenery, the guys get dragged around the fortune-telling places in their hopes of finding true love, while Hikki, for all his advice giving, has a love of his own he won't explore. They get to all the food outlets and the haunted house is a popular visit for those guys who are looking for love and want to get their girls a bit closer. The anime has its own running joke with Hayato Hayama and Hikki getting rather close in certain situations (even going so far as to have Hikki wake up next to him).
My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU Too! is mainly about the relationships among the school service club and how they have changed from the first part of the series. The interaction between the three of them is funny as you would have thought that as the ones giving advice to others, they would have done a better job of bonding. Hikitani as the main character has all his own problems to deal with; why he won't make friends even though the members of the club think it would be a good idea and what would happen if they took their own advice. Hikitani has to overcome his own problems if he wants to progress through life as no one wants to be around someone who has little regard for people. There is plenty for the club to deal with and they can't do it on their own as that's the object of the anime where the one who wants to be left alone can't be (Hikki).
Bonus Material: Clean Opening and Closing Animations.
Summary: It's the long awaited second series and it's the perfect comedy around - get it now!
