Naruto, due to his stamina and use of chakra can be in several places at once thanks to his clones, but his prowess on the battlefield can only accomplish so much; facing Madara, his chakra is fast running out and his options are limited - what can he do against the might of one of the oldest Uchihas?

Though it's nice to have Naruto around to help them, the five kage have to tell him that it's their duty to defeat Madara in order to end the cycle of hatred the Uchiha have had for the Senju all these years. They send him away with only one message: "We'll win!" Now that Naruto has more of a focus on his quest he can get to the masked man along with his friend, Killer Bee. This fight might not be as easy as he thinks as his foe has several other reanimated shinobi around to help him get back at them.

Each enemy has a sharingan and a rinnegan in each eye, and it's also great to see Utakata who we remember from several episodes ago. Here the masked man once known as Madara reveals himself to be Tobi, his past name, but he seems to be hiding something more sinister. Tobi's allies are explained here as well as brief past histories when Itachi was still picking off tailed beast jinchuriki with Kisame.

Naruto is keen to find out who Tobi is and knock his mask right off his face, but he sees now he will have to go through the other jinchuriki first. He can't understand why Tobi would want to destroy the world and the people in it and views Tobi's hatred as futile when Naruto and his friends have a lot to live for despite the war.

As Kabuto is ever prepared when he bargains with others, the one he made with Tobi amazed him so much he bears a hatred of him as Kabuto now has the upper hand if he tries to betray him. From the start, Tobi tells Naruto he's not a happy man. His despair is how the world turned out and he sees that the only way to rectify it is to bring about his Project Tsuki no Me. And as the majority of the Uchiha clan has been killed, why Tobi has a sharingan is strange. This is what keeps us watching though as technically Tobi could be anyone who has managed to steal a sharingan.

A great deal is going on in this series as the episodes are canon rather than having filler episodes in them. What is most refreshing are the episodes where Naruto has to try to convince Tobi that his view on life and what he wants to do is wrong, and the back stories of the jinchuriki and how they came to be captured by the Akatsuki. It is good to see Itachi and Kisame at the time when they were assigned to go capture the tailed beasts and how even then Itachi was a much better person than everyone imagined. Again the story shifts between the different battles going on with the kage actively taking part to rid them of white Zetsu and manipulated jinchuriki. The main features are Naruto/Tobi, the jinchuriki and where they came from, a certain infamous person joining the battle and  also Kabuto's back story. All in all it's a pretty impressive set where the battle rages on.

Bonus Material: Storyboards, Production Gallery and Trailers.

Summary: Now that the war is at a crucial point, all the players are ready for combat and Naruto has to show everyone why they have had faith in him for so long - this is two discs of awesomness!
