For years, Obito has resented Kakashi as he has never truly understood his motives or knew who he was, until he stands and thinks about it, leaving those past resentments behind. While Naruto looks like he has reached the end of his path, Sasuke is in a similar predicament, only two people can bring them back to life.

Sakura has tried and failed to get Naruto's heart beating again, but a chance meeting of Kakashi with Obito might set things straight. Sasuke has one unlikely ally who stays by his side trying to bring him back with his own techniques he learned only recently, while Orochimaru, Karin and Suigetsu observe.

Madara has been controlling Obito and he barely noticed, fuelling his hatred for Kakashi and having him become the fake version of Madara in order to do his dirty work. Obito, thanks to Kakashi and a brave Naruto have opened his eyes to the possibility that he can change his ways and do good before Madara performs the Infinite Tsukuyomi.

So far we have seen the rivalry between Obito and Kakashi grow, but as Obito never understood his comrade, he feels he has to when he sees Kakashi unhappy back in the day. What Obito didn't know was that Kakashi's father had died after a failed mission. It is only when his captain, Minato tells Obito of what happened to Kakashi's father that he truly understands his rival. The concern for Kakashi doesn't end there, the hokage assigns Minato to look after Kakashi as he tends to be always about the rules and puts the mission above his comrades. Kakashi can never understand Obito's lateness as he has always walked a straight path in life, so his seeing Obito come late for everything as annoying. This is shown when we see Kakashi and Rin coming away from the entrance exam and are now genin, but as usual Obito was late for the ceremony and it is Rin who gives Obito the scroll and dubs him a genin. Fate dictates the friends stay together as both Rin, Kakashi and Obito become a three man squad with Minato as captain.

Not since back in their youth have Kakashi and Obito teamed-up to fight, but now he sees reason and sees what Kakashi was having to cope with back in the past, Obito can help his friend and former team mate fight the threat Madara poses to the leaf. Obito leaves his rivalry and his hatred of how he thought he let Rin die behind to take up the challenge. He does more than even Kakashi expects going to Naruto to help him live again. However, Might Guy decides to step in and give the other characters a chance to have a breather.

As I remember from the manga, we get to see Might Guy's story of how he got accepted into the academy with his father's help; his life mirroring Rock Lee's. He wasn't such a good ninja as he didn't display the skills needed to be an all-rounder, mocked by his comrades and beaten-up by rivals made him a sad figure, but he didn't let this knock him down. Instead, he used their hatred, ignoring it and carried on. Something else Lee doesn't realise is that all the while he trains and gets mocked, Kakashi is watching him and standing up for him too.

The plot thickens with Madara still having the strength to take over while the other hidden villages try to knock him back. Sasuke and Naruto are still laid out near death and need others to help them, but will this be enough? Enjoy how character driven and exciting this box set is while you consider how far Madara is prepared to go to cover the world in dark genjutsu.

Bonus Material: The usual Storyboards and Production Art to take a look at.

Summary: If Obito and Kakashi don't stop him, Madara will cast the Infinite Tsukuyomi - rivetting watching!
