It's been a while since Luffy gulped down the Gum Gum Devil Fruit that gave him new and impressive powers, and sail the high seas getting new members for his crew; Zoro, Usopp, Sanji, Nami and Robin are known as the Straw Hat Pirates, but unlike other pirates they have standards of loyalty and won't fight or hurt anyone who doesn't deserve it. The Straw Hat pirates haves fought plenty of foes but not the Tin Tyrants.

They are in a class of their own and when they meet them, they wish they hadn't as their ship dwarfs theirs, but as one of the crew puts it, it looks an awful lot like a watermelon. Nami being ill doesn't help Luffy's crew as they need to get her to a doctor or risk her dying, but the chances of them finding one is pretty remote.

The Tin Tyrants captain wants to get to the Drum Island, but Luffy and his crew have never heard of it. The captain doesn't have to leave empty handed though, and tells Luffy he will settle for all the treasure they haves on their ship.

For characters in this series, looking purple and sweating implies that they are ill, or worse still near death. Nami is still hanging on for dear life when she with the help of Luffy's crew finds some huge, red eyed bunnies who stand in their way. The third episode on the first disc is an enjoyable one as it gives Sanji the chance to shine for once in the series. This time Luffy has to hold the girl and get away to safety while it's up to Sanji to fight the bunnies. So far, Luffy has got together his band of men and women, his pirate crew who all have strengths, but more than anything else they need a doctor now, so travelling miles from home for a with in some castle is pushing their patience, especially when it's freezing cold.

Life is never boring for these, the most special and delightful of pirates to have ever sailed the high seas, not when there are so many other pirates to meet. It is easy to get caught up in the story as the characters live out their lives with one goal, getting that treasure.

Bonus Material: Special Features: Episode 90 Commentary, Text less Songs, Trailers.

Verdict: Fun, crazy and well worth the time and effort investing in the story.
