Just when you think you could keep a good series down, even the fifth season of Adventure Time, you can't and viewers will think it's the best yet with Jake on the cover art for the slip case. Adventure Time Season 5 is available on Blu-ray and DVD and contains 52 episodes that had previously been on Cartoon Network as its number-one feature series.
This is a simplistic-looking series with one-dimensional characters done in a child friendly way with colours like yellow, red, blue and pink that would attract the attention of younger eyes. This certainly keeps the interest with protagonist, Finn and his faithful dog, Jake.
Rather than this series just being about our characters and their current exploits, this contains stories that reach back into the past of over 1,000 years in the Land of Ooo, so the interest does go beyond its current characters giving it much more emphasis to offer much more to the viewer. The past stories also give us a look at what existing characters were like in the past and how they have changed; Marceline, Ice King and Princess Bubblegum have come a long way as we can see.
This isn't what I would call an anime, it is popular and has a great deal of fans, and it's not surprising, Finn and Jake should be in for a sixth season by now.
