Sebas and Solution have done well in collecting information about their enemies and Lord Ains is pleased enough to grant his loyal subjects whatever they wish with conditions of course.
Lord Ains is more than pleased with how his invasion has gone, and now plans to completely take over, seeing Nazarick as his own. he sets about making other kingdoms know who he is, though with all this warring and take-over plans on his mind, he neglects the one person who needs him most, Albedo!
Lord Ains knows he can make demands of his people but he wishes they would take time off once in a while. Albedo has her new horse a bicorne in black armour just like her but she finds the horse won't let her ride it as even though she is a succubus she has never made love!
Not since Skeletor have we seen a skull-faced evil leader who has ignored the fairer sex for being the overlord of all the kingdoms in the known lands. Oh well, it's his problem. Like in a video game, there are many characters who exist in a huge world and in Overlord III Season 3, we get to see only a small chunk of that with the fantasy elfin and or demonic characters who work for Lord Ains; Nipheria and Ginri, who are a bit cheery considering they are supposed to be bad guys. They are making sure that Lord Ains's plans for world domination work out in their own way.
As the world is so large, and have so many characters to go at, the story can seem a little slow at first, but a lot of effort goes into building that world and time we need to get to know the characters properly What interested me more was that Lord Ains is also supposed to be the main antagonist in the story, yet he is different to most of his kind in most anime series, he is kind, generous, rewards his underlings well and considers their feelings. His general character isn't one I think I have come across much in my near two decades of reviewing.
Overlord III Season 3 is an appealing anime with a good story, characters you grow to care about, decent animation and there is enough character development so you can choose which characters you feel are amazing; even Lord Ains and Albedo could make a good couple if he gives it half a chance!
