It has been a while since the first series of Cardcaptor Sakura: Clear Card, and after initial problems with its release and subsequent re-release, here we are with the concluding part, all in the span of eleven episodes.
Back in the first series, Sakura had accidentally let free the Clear Card, tragedy has since been averted and the cards guardian, Keroberos helping her to get the cards back and stop any further problems. With the cards, there come powers, powers Sakura wanted to control and with the aid of her friends, Tomoyo and Li Syaoran, she thinks she can do it.
In this series, Sakura sees Syaoran return from having break in Hong Kong and hopes life will be good from now on, but due to a dream warning that the cards will lose their powers and she will have to be gifted another set of cards, much like Pokemon players would have them, she discovers these will be more problematic.
Cardcaptor Sakura: Clear Card is an anime series made for a specific group that has nothing in it to interest older age groups; what I mean to say is, Bleach has a teen fan base, but someone in their twenties or thirties (or older) can watch it and enjoy it as the story also deals with more adult themes that resonate with older viewers. Whereas Cardcaptor Sakura: Clear Card is made for a younger age group only and older viewers wouldn't have any interest in it. What this anime does have though is the traditional magical girl story that so many girls like to watch, its animation is colourful, sweet, cute and everything they want to enjoy something fun after the school holidays have finished.
Bonus Material: Menus with a trailer for Funimation Now and disc 2 has bonuses of Textless Credit Scenes and two Opening and Closing Animations.
Summary: If the magical girl anime is what you like, this is fun, has comedy and will keep you wanting more!
