As the Power Rangers know, teamwork is the key to making progress against Galvanax's new champion, but they have to all be on the same page. This isn't the case with Calvin as he can't keep his mind on his mission with a princess and her guard who insist on pushing the Power Rangers to do better as a fighting force for good on Earth.

In this 5 episode set, there is more for the discerning Power Rangers fan to enjoy; Calvin's problems with trying to defeat Galvanax's champion, Calvin's relationship with girlfriend, Hayley turning sour when they both try for Student Body President and Redbot strangely landing a book deal when his outrageously exaggerated blog gets noticed by the right people.

We can expect enough comedy and hi-jinx to last a lifetime with this series, and it does provide what we want from a team forged comedy, though what I got was a lot of time watching the Power Rangers again going through their lives in a mundane way while they are needed elsewhere as superheroes on Earth.

They all have aspirations as we all do, for their normal lives can be hectic, or boring and bland, or they want some form of mundanity to ground them from getting complacent as superheroes. The structure of the show fits in well with what I wanted to see; they want normal lives outside of who they are as Power Rangers, and normally they can't find a balance in real-life. Here each one has some fun, or pursue a relationship, even Redbot has his own aspirations - and who can blame him?

The main issue in this series is their quest against Galvanax's champion, but they have to weigh up what they want from their real life and whether it will make a difference overall.
