Spring break has come along and Rikka announces shes having a vacation, more sudden than expected as her friends are suspicious she is even in love with Yuta. Yuta is at first shocked by Rikka wanting to elope with him, but as he has done before, goes along with what she wants to do, and this is how their adventure starts.
For those who could not get enough of Love, Chunibyo and other Delusions: Rikka Version, here we get more of what we are used to watching the cute couple make mistakes while running away from their foes. Yuta knows he isn't the dark one who has such powerful evil magic but that doesn't stop Rikka from falling into her chunibyo once again.
Yuta has learned to keep humouring her, but now that he is cornered by one of Rikka's foes who tries to convince Yuta Rikka has to shed her chunibyo before she gets to be eighteen and go to university. She seems to be able to trust him to help Rikka out as he also knows Rikka has plenty of delusions about him.
From the moment they leave the two of them are tailed everywhere they go. The fun is in where they go, from local landmarks to a love hotel. Chunibyo is funny, occult and tongue in cheek.
