For its one-dimensional look and kooky characters, Adventure Time's popularity is to do with its animation and fun element, though its the way the characters progress through the episodes; Finn and his pal Jake have gone from being run of the mill characters into something more like a three-dimensional character would be.

They are intelligent, witty, able to work things out for themselves and Jake at times acts as Finn's voice of reason when things go wrong. But it's not just Finn who is progressing in this fourth season of one of the most popular series at the moment.

Each episode is in itself not just fun to watch but has certain moral issues to urge the viewer to want to know more about these characters from a world called Ooo. I got the message of the series from the kids' point of view and realised it has a lot to offer and its no surprise it's on the lips of kids this year.

The cover this time around features our favourite vampire, Marceline in all her vampy glory complete with her two bite marks. She seems happy enough, and so are her friends in this, the most surprising release of 2019 and the fun times have only just begun for Finn and Jake and their band of pals.
