For its one-dimensional look and kooky characters, Adventure Time's popularity is to do with its animation and fun element, though its the way the characters progress through the episodes; Finn and his pal Jake have gone from being run of the mill characters into something more like a three-dimensional character would be.

Even if it is a TV show for younger viewers, there is a strategy to how the seasons introduce their new characters; Jake is introduced in season 1 and the Ice King in season 2, so the nice drip-feed of interesting characters makes the viewing more enjoyable, especially so as there is plenty to watch here with four hours of episodes to take in.

As we get further on in The Tournament of Power, Frieza has to fight for what he thinks is right while Goku has his fight with Jiren, though Goku has a problem mid-fight - his power is waning and he could end up worse off for fighting any longer. The question is, can Goku find any hidden strength in him so he can go the distance?

Imagine if TVs favourite Mr Ed had an animated series about his life and exploits, but for an older audience? I could imagine it would be a good way to view an anthropomorphised character as we can make them seem more human in many ways, though this is more about a character who is more man than animal who makes the same life choices and mistakes as most of us.
