Written by Yui Hara and published by Yen Press, it's good to see manga get turned into anime series that are worth watching for that demographic (younger viewers) and as a comedy with slice of life thrown in, its a case of West meets East, or at least it did in the first season.
In season 2, Shinobu is separated from her friends, Alice and Yoko who she knows will find it hard being without her as they have grown close over the past few months. It isn't Shinobu who is finding it hard though, Karen and Aya have their fair share of problems to overcome.
One of the niggles with these type of series, very much like K-On! is how stale the story can go once we get to the second series. You will be interested and pleased too know that this doesn't happen with Hello Kinmoza! If anything, the story is as good as the first, carrying on from where we left off it continues Alice and Shinobu's crazy yet loveable relationship, increasing the comedy potential. The introduction of a new teacher (Miss Kuzehashi) also makes life for Karen harder than expected, but that only adds to the feel of how her friends gather around her to make her feel better about her dire situation. If it's any consolation for her, Miss Kuzehashi wants to be seen as popular by her students and her peers.
For fans of the series it is the comedy and development of the characters that grips viewers enough to want to keep watching, and as it isn't samey or repetitive, there is scope for more to come as it already has a fan base who are willing to invest in it.
Bonus Material: **Special Edition Combo Pack contains 2 x DVD discs and 2 x Blu-ray Discs with Limited Edition O-Card Cover**
Summary: This is for fans of the original first series as there is more to come than you think, and more hilarity!
