Naruto has come far in  his training and now that he has found a new friend in Killer Bee, he also has a partner he can train with, possibly learn from. In the first episode, Naruto has to enter the Waterfall of Truth to battle his inner dark negative self. If he can do this he has the chance to move onto the next step, but as his other self has been through so much, he has to at least empathise with him.

Even in this episode there are a couple of fun moments; when Naruto tells his red-eyed other self he wants to be the next Hokage and what he does when he tries to defeat him.

There have been various moments in Naruto Shippuden that were important episodes for Naruto's development as a shinobi, and this is one of them. Here we see him lose the seal and start to gain control of his inner ten-tailed beast. The first disc deals with one of the most important reveals since the discovery that Minato was Naruto's father. Other than Naruto fighting the nine-tails inside him there are other part in this series that are heart-warming, in a sense. Kushina (Naruto's mum) talking to Sasuke's mum when he's a cute baby in her arms, saying how she hopes him and Naruto will get on as they will be classmates. Kushina also lets slip that she's afraid of how much giving birth will hurt her and all this happens in a previous time when Naruto was first born.

This also heralds the beginning of darker times ahead when a masked man tried to steal Minato's wife's inner nine-tailed beast from her body. This is only the start of the masked man's mission to destroy the Hidden Leaf Village. The might of the village is tested by his defiant and dangerous presence, yet Minato also shows that even though he is a charming and loving character, he won't let this mystery man destroy the village if he can prevent him.

In Naruto Shippuden Box Set 20 we see Naruto gain the power of the nine-tails he has needed for a long time. After learning how to unlock and gain the power from his toad tutors, he can hone this new power and turn it into a force for the good of the village. As the village has come under fire from Pain before, he knows he must become strong for the people's sake, and now that he knows the people need him, he can train again without feeling as though he is an outsider. This anime doesn't fail to give viewers an idea of what this anime is about - there's action, humour and some amazing cameos from past characters and even characters we've come to know when they were much younger.

Bonus Material: Storyboards, Production Art and Trailers.

Verdict: Kick ass and fun to watch - Naruto is every anime fans best friend!
