Mr Jones, overlord of the animals at Manor Farm gets drunk at night and neglects to feed them. Major, the prize boar who every animal looks to for guidance holds a meeting he sees as important. It is about their future at the farm.

Major intends on having a revolt due to their treatment at the hands of Jones, the farmer who should be looking after them. With Major as their leader, they seek to get rid of Jones, but are they getting rid of one dictator for another to rise up?

Once classics like this were only written for academic readers who understood all those long words that a lot of us might not know or understand.

So for those readers who might have missed out on reading such classics as Stevenson's Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde, Dicken's A Christmas Carol and Steinbeck's Of Mice and Men, thank Barrington Stoke for creating dyslexia friendly versions of them that are easy to read and comes with other dyslexia-friendly additions making it a super readable edition.
