When Ash arrives late to choose his pokemon, he finds out the other students have taken them, leaving him with only one, the very fiery Pikachu. Pikachu takes an instant dislike to Ash whenever he tries to befriend him, resulting in him being electrocuted on many occasions. It is only when Ash rescues him after a run-in with another pokemon that Pikachu trusts him implicitly.
One of the first things Ash has to do once he leaves Professor Oak, is go on a journey to discover how well the two of them can perform as a team, and this is where he meets his fellow pokemon trainers. With memorable scenes, fun scenarios, and strong characters, Pokemon the Movie 20 I Choose You! takes us back to the start of Ash's journey and the beginning of the anime series along with some new changes fans of the original series will notice.
What is most noticeable is the image with its 1080p look. It makes the animation look good visually, but there are floors with banding and noise, though this thankfully is irregular. The colours are crisp, clear and will appeal to children as they comprise of variations on the four primary colours, Pikachu standing out well among the other pokemon. Backgrounds are impressive with great detail and provide a great visual experience. It has HD with audio at 5.1 and a soundtrack that is an improvement on the DVD version and good quality surround sound capable of boosting fight scenes, battles and emotional parts of the story.
Bonus Material: Pokemon The First Movie.
Summary: This set of discs has the quality, fun and takes you back to a nostalgic time you can experience again and again!
