After Haruhi's vase incident and subsequent drag into the Host Club, to repay her debt for knocking it over, Haruhi seems to have made an impression on the Host Club "King" Tamaki Suoh. As all the hosts are male, Haruhi acts as a boy too, but her actions (which are very ordinary) interest Tamaki enough to make him feel he has fallen for her.
