Goku is still in the midst of fighting Hit and its looking bad for him as he can't anticipate his movements even seconds after he has struck. Goku has only served to disrupt Hit's time stopping. The problem is Hit is still developing as a fighter at a faster rate than Goku and so far he cant keep up.

This surprises us as we have seen how far Goku has come over the seasons. Goku does have an idea he can use against such a strong foe to make him take notice of his skills, his kaio move which is one which Goku perfected when he was much younger. It's not all about Goku though, a lot is covered in this two disc set, as by the second episode we get to see the supreme ruler of the universe. Not that Goku has any idea of his importance or the etiquette of how to address him. This is one of the funnier parts of the series and the result of his ignorance.

Remember how Ichigo spoke to Gin and Captain Kuchiki in early seasons of Bleach? Well, it's almost the same thing here. There are characters from previous series that appear here, Majin Buu's appearance for me felt quite nostalgic, the only difference being that he looks better than back then.

Using an unusual chant to summon the dragon in order to have it grant wishes is a very funny way of breaking the ice for the characters. Goku and his friends get to wish for what they want at the end of the tournament, though I remember the last time the dragon was asked to grant wishes, it didn't look as spectacular as this time around.

I suppose it's the animators way of showing us how far they have come with the CGI. Goku does et what he wants out of the tournament as he has a chance to fight someone he has wanted to all along. Once it is over with, Goku's other half finds out and all hell breaks loose - as expected! Due to the alien goo, we now have a duplicate version of Vegeta roaming around while the real one mysteriously disappears.

As if this wasn't enough of a reason to watch this series, there are more than enough strange episodes to fill them and make us wonder about what we watch on TV these days that isn't as much fun. The main draw of Dragonball is the characters, the story and the impressive animation style that has lasted for so long and captured so many viewers' imaginations.

Bonus Material: None.

Summary: If you're looking for fun, a great plot and some comical antics from established characters in the Dragonball universe, you are in for a great time!
