IN what is the final part of Season Two, the class of U.A. High School have a lot to learn when they have to train hard, though as for them their work experience goes horribly wrong. A serial killer is on the trail of the kids, which leaves Class 1A students running scared as this killer has a bloodlust and Deku Midoriya is the main target as he is the only one born without a "quirk" power.
Whereas Season 1 focused on the general plot and getting viewers used to the characters, Season 2 Part 2 has successfully made these characters more three-dimensional and believable to us as ones we can also understand on a more personal level; take Deku for instance and the struggles he has with being a non "quirk" user. The sports festival and grueling exams are only a few of the problems the kids of Class 1A have to deal with, but the biggest by far is the Hero Killer who is what I would call an improvement on the villain in the previous series. The story is fun, engaging and gives us more info on the characters than we could have expected. Couple that with cool animation and we have a winning combination for anime fans worldwide.
There is a Season 3 due out, but it will be a while before it airs.
Additional Infomation:
This anime is based on Kohei Houkoshi's New York Times Best-Selling manga My Hero Academia that was featured in Weekly Shonen Jump which has seen the likes of Naruto and Bleach as iconic manga that has gone on to become successful anime series in their own right. In a world where super heroes are real and almost everyone has a "quirk" power, becoming a hero is classed as a vocation and with a lot of excitement attached to it and as everyone else can hone the powers they already have, Deku has to work harder to be as good as the other students without this power.
There is a varied cast in this final series with Kenji Nagasaki acting as director, his other work includes Gundam Build Fighters, while Go Inoue plays the Hero Killer, Stain who got voted "Best Villain" in the 2017 Crunchyroll Anime Awards. Other actors include a cool performance by Daiki Yamashita who was in Dimension W, Yuki Kaji who starred in Attack on Titan, Kaito Ishikawa who was in One-Punch Man, Justin Briner from the English language version who was in Seraph of the End, David Matranga from Attack on Titan and J. Michael Tatum from FMA: Brotherhood.
