MERCHANDISE REVIEW: GRIMMJOW JEAGERJAQUES NO 6 ESPADA PENDANT

Grimmjow Jeagerjaques No. 6 Espada Pendant

Back in the Bleach Arrancar Arc where Aizen had forgone his captaincy of the Soul Society and became a rogue lord in charge of Hueco Mundo, Grimmjow reluctantly served as one of his ten Espadas.

These are the top ranking men at his side above all other Arrancars and as the Sexta, or sixth Espada, he had the ability to use his anger and rage to his own advantage.

The number six pendant is in silver with his left jawline in gold and is the perfect symbol for him. The pendant itself comes with its own thong that has extra chain length near the end of the clasp that takes into account your neck shape, so making it unisex. The pendant is larger than expected and looks how it should from the anime in silver and gold. I have seen some pendants of this type that come in all silver without the gold embellishment, so I like this one better. It feels heavier than expected also but shines well with the light.

Any Bleach fan will like this as it is perfect for daily wear or cosplay and if I remember rightly, this same shape six was the tattoo on his back that dubs him a high-ranking Espada. When Grimmjow lost his arm to Captain Tosen, it was Orihime who used her power to regenerate his arm and restore his tattoo, relegating pretender Luppi and restoring him as rightful sexta once again.

When I considered getting this, I thought about how much I would wear it as the character at first looked like he had died in his last fight with Ichigo when Nnoitra Gilga gave him a deathblow, but as any Bleach manga-loving fan knows, Grimmjow is back in the new volumes, and that gave me a reason to get one of these after all. Grimmjow isn't a fly by night or, like most of the other espada dead.

One thing I will say is how much I like how the maker has got the jaw features near enough to Grimmjows own jaw.

Chain Size: 21/2 Inches
Genre:Bleach, Anime, Manga
Pendant Material: Metal, silver, gold
