YAOI ARTICLE: GRAVITATION - ONE MAN'S DREAM TO BE THE BEST - REALIZED.
Gravitation - One Man's Dream to be The Best - Realized.
Shuichi Shindou takes a walk one night thinking about his lyrics for the latest song for Bad Luck, when the sheet is taken away by the wind. It is then he meets a stranger who picks his lyric sheet from the floor and takes a look at it, telling him he should give up writing.
It is at this time when Shuichi hates him at first, but falls for him in a way he's never done. Even his friend thought he liked the girls and finds it interesting to hear him talk from the heart about a guy called Eiri Yuki who he soon discovers is a gay romance writer.
There is something wonderful about this shonen-ai series of novels and the anime that came after it. Shuichi plays the needy guy who just wants someone to love him and admire his drive and ambition to be the best at what he does. He is a lyric writer who can get sidetracked if something interesting comes along - like Yuki, but has to be given a kick up the ass to get him going again. Though Yuki has a dark past he would rather forget, he also doesn't want Shuichi to get too close to him as he doesn't want to tell him what happened when he was an innocent young boy who was just like him.
Comedy, insane sequences that will baffle most rational people and a good ending to the story is what is needed, and Gravitation has it all.
