Shinji and his band of Visards have come on the scene of the great battle between the Soul Reapers and the Arrancars. There are those who are battle weary, while a few are left standing, but still battered. Love, Hachigen, Lisa, and the others have come to help them though Shinji has a score to settle with the former captain Aizen who is currently the leader of the Arrancars.

For a moment we take a look back to where Aizen was a lieutenant and about the kill the former captains and lieutenants who he had cruelly experimented on one night. He would have decided their fate if it wasn't for the courage of the then Captain Urahara. He steps in and prevents Aizen from slaughtering them all, shattering his plans, leaving enemies who would take their revenge on him in the future. Back in the present, Aizen smiles when he sees Shinji again, supported by his fellow Visards with the confidence of someone who thinks he can beat them. He is the ruler of the Arrancars after all. Series 13 Part 2 is all about the people who are going against Aizen's might. When the captains though they would be beat, the Visards stepped in and helped out. They didn't have to, but they wanted to give Aizen some payback for what he did.

It starts to look like Aizen might win against the Soul Reapers, but with the Visards on the scene, the fight could go either way. Most of you will notice Ichigo and the others haven't been in it for a while, so their absence shows that it might not be long before we catch up on their story soon. Fun can be had with several characters in this series, Hiyori calling Captain Hitsugaya "shorty!", Aizen giving Shinji a haircut - just not the one he wanted in one of the many mini episodes at the end of each episode.

Part 2 comes on three discs with images of the three characters on them, on the first is Captain Soifon, the second Coyote Starrk and the third has Shinji Hirako upside down.  Part 2 comes on three discs with images of the three characters on them, on the first is Captain Soifon, the second Coyote Starrk and the third has Shinji Hirako upside down (there is a reason for this.) The menu is easy to use and the songs from the intro are exciting and encourage you to want to watch the episodes. The opening theme "chAngE" performed by miwa is a great one, while the closing theme "echoes" performed by universe is much more mellow and works well as a song at the end of an episode.

Contains episodes 279-291

Languages: English, Japanese (with English subtitles)

Bonus Material: Opening and Ending animations.

Verdict: Bleach is hotting up in this 13th series and we will see the true might of the Soul Reapers against the Arrancars.
